Every woman and baby is given devoted, individualized care by myself and a trained assistant. Hour long prenatal visits are in your home and will give us the time for in-depth prenatal care. I monitor your current health and baby's growth. All standard diagnostic tests are offered to you and are optional. Childbirth preparation courses are available to better prepare for your natural homebirth. Referral to allopathic or holistic health care providers for any concerns that may arise. 

One Hour In-Home Prenatal Visits

  • Monthly visits until 28 weeks
  • Bi-monthly visits until 36 weeks
  • Weekly visits from 36 weeks on as you prepare for the birth of your baby

Prenatal visits include: Measuring mama's vital signs, growth of the baby, feeling the position of the baby, listening to your baby's heartbeat, and urinalysis. Discussions about nutrition and exercise, parenting, birth desires, current emotional changes, prenatal testing and/or ultrasound, and any questions regarding your pregnancy or birth.

Other Services

  • On-call status for any questions or concerns
  • Informed Consent on all pregnancy related tests, ultrasounds, labwork or screenings
  • Optional Testing Provided: diagnostic imaging (ultrasound), genetic screening and testing and/or physician referrals
  • Non-Medicated Childbirth Education and Preparation Classes
  • Potlucks and Gatherings

A due date is an estimate of when your baby will be born. Most babies are born between 38 to 42 weeks gestation, making the 40 week marker a midway point as the estimated due date. Only 5% of babies will be born on their estimated due date (EDD).
